About Us
Hannah LeBor
My name is Hannah LeBor, I am half Hungarian and half British. I started fencing when I was 7 years old and living in Budapest, Hungary. After moving to London aged 14, I started competing under the British Union Jack. My greatest achievements include 3 consecutive top 15 finishes at European Championships, being a double Commonwealth, British and Hungarian National Champion, and representing Team GB at five World Championships. I hope to inspire young athletes to work hard and to be resilient to the challenges one might face, because in the end it will be all be worth it!
Zuri Alfred
My Name is Zuri Alfred, I am Dominican-American and I started fencing when I was 6 years old, first Sabre for the first few years, followed by Epee in 2019 and never looked back. I had a short period during the pandemic where trained and fenced foil with a dear family friend and two time Olympic foilist Nzingha Prescod, however, my weapon of choice has always been Epee, which I continue to develop. I have competed both locally in the UK, USA and internationally in Europe with a few top 20 finishes and a handful of Silver and Bronze medal finals in the UK U11, U12 and U13 categories. Fencing continues to be a large part of my life helping me balance the academic stresses of study in senior school. It is my goal to empower young girls like me to engage in fencing and encourage more women in sports.
